Hairdresser refused to do what I want so I listened to her advice and she left my hair looking very flat and fine. She refused to dry it with volume at the roots and then when I asked her to blow dry it gently wavy/curly she said this wasn’t possible either and that she’d have to use a curling tongs (which I explicitly didn’t want). Needless to say, I went straight home and washed my hair. For the haircut itself she just took the scissors along the bottom and cut it in a straight line.
