Went to the salon for an ombre. As i was already highlighted i needed my roots dyed etc and it was a long process but the stylist did a fantastic job and was so friendly. her name was anna and id recommend her to anybody booking :) for the first time ever i left a salon actually loving my hairstyle. X
The salon is not great but good staff. I Was happy with highlights and cut as was a good deal.
Luiz was fantastic. He was by himself and had to look after myself and another customer although we were apparently double booked in the morning. I had my roots done and was worried about colour matching but he did an incredible job. The salon got very busy with people coming in and Luiz had to tend to them also so I think my cut took a little bit longer. Perfect cut otherwise. Great value for money and I was very happy with this. Will definitely be back.
Honestly one of the best cut/colours I have had in a while. The salon itself isn't particularly impressive, and I had to wait 20 minutes before anyone actually spoke to me after I arrived, but the consultation seemed to be thorough and I felt like my stylist knew what he was doing. The hair washing was interesting - ended up with a fair bit of water on my face, but the cut and colour came out really nicely and the blow-dry looked great. It was exactly what I wanted.
One major problem is the timing - obviously their computer system/Treatwell's system automatically suggests how long your appointment will be. For a full head of highlights, cut, treatment and blow dry I was allocated 2 hours. I knew this was off the mark, but when I left the salon 4 hours after my appointment started I was a little annoyed. Hair looked great though!
What a place! Best value for money salon in London in my opinion, the services are on a par with the very top end at often more that half the price, not to mention the prime location. This was my second visit to Gusto and will no doubt be going back, the stylists are all very attentive and do lovely cuts/colours. One of the stylists also coloured my sisters hair to equally pleasing results. Can't recommended this gem enough!
