I know a lot of the review are really positive. The staff is okay, friendly and professional. I did leave the salon happy though once in proper lighting I realised the colour of my highlights wasn't what I showed them and instead of having a nicely blended set of highlights, it looks like small chunks of highlights... which doesn't look natural at all and wasn't the look I showed.
Haircut was ok, nothing amazing.
Also I am not sure about the quality of the product they use. I have had to treat my hair with a coats of olive oil and other highly nourishing product as my hair had suffered a lot from the highlights which never happened before.
I will not go back there, sorry
Based on previous reviews I purchased the voucher for full colour and blow dry. While all the guys in the salon are super nice and friendly, I have to say my colour was pretty average. When the colour was put on, there was nothing done to prevent it staining on my skin. Since I had a dark brown colour, my forehead, sides, behind my ears etc were stained brow and I had to scrub it off when I got home. I have curly hair and the blowdry was really good. So altogether 3 stars.
Gusto is definitely not a luxury salon however George my hairdresser was spot on and I love my hair. I had paid a half head of highlights, blow dry and cut, I hadn't realised that a cut was included and asked if this could be removed, they were really flexible and agreed to swap the cut for an additional highlight colour and for the fact that my length was definitely long rather than medium. All the staff seem to be friendly and chatty and George in particular was lovely. If you are after a good cut, colour or blow dry this is a great place, just don't expect frills.
