Beatrix is an amazing hairdresser from Barcelona, Spain and my entire experience with Gusto Hairdressing is based on her service and skills. Although her English is not very good, I managed to easily explain to her what I wanted to achieve, and she confirmed this by showing me pictures of her past work on her iPad, and I was convinced that she knew what I wanted. During the process, Beatrix was extremely cheerful, always smiling, reassuring me about what she was doing, sharing with me other pictures of her work, and was meticulous and efficient. I am very pleased with the results.
The salon is a bit small and space between customers/hairdressers is very tight. I was not too impressed by the male hairdresser next to me, who was rather inconsiderate and hindered Beatrix's movement due to the positioning of his trolley. He also moved my chair to the right (to give himself more space), but this meant that I could not see myself properly in the mirror, and neither could Beatrix (who had to constantly adjust her position in order to see my reflection in the mirror and ensure my haircut was done right). I am thankful I was lucky to get Beatrix as my hairstylist indeed.

I had a half -head highlights, cut and blow dry done by a lovely spanish girl. She was very attentive with the attention to detail. I'm very happy with the result, she did exactly what I asked for. Even though my hair took longer than expected to catch colour I didn't feel like I was rushed through the rest by the stylist (however the girl at the reception wasn't particularly happy and was a little bit too obvious). I only asked to have a trim at the back and restyle around the face and she did exactly that and greatly styled after. Also watching other stylist work while my hair was being done I have to say that his result was also great. I would definitely recommend the place and will book again.

I booked a full head of highlights very last minute and was called to make sure I could be fitted in. Needed my colouring sorted out after a home fail. George was my hairdresser and very freindly and knowledgeable. So lots of care and attention was taken to get my hair back to desired colour, and as my hair was very damaged alot of care taken and advice given.
