I went to Gusto after a failed DIY haircut and decided to go with the 60% off haircut and highlight treatment. Sat myself down for about 3 hrs+ (i have long hair) and it was lovely. It was so comfortable i almost fell asleep! Moreno was gentle with my head and hair and he gave me suggestions on what highlights would be great with my skin tone. As soon as i sent my After pictures to my friends, the compliments came flooding in. So thank you Gusto! (Final tip from Moreno: Never cut your own hair again. LOL! It was THAT bad)

I went on Easter Sunday and the salon was short staffed and overbooked so I had to wait over half an hour for my appointment to start, the 2 hairdressers were juggling a few clients at the same time throughout my appointment meaning he had to keep stopping and starting my hair. I had booked a full head of highlights with conditioning treatment (which I didn't receive) and cut & blowdry. There was no consultation at all and the hairdresser went off to mix up colour straight away without checking what result I actually wanted, I had to stop him and ask. I could overhear the other hairdresser providing a full consultation to another client so I was really disappointed that I did not receive the same experience. There was a bit of a language barrier as well which meant there was very little conversation throughout. I felt a quite anxious at the start, especially as it was my first visit to the salon but my end result was nice even if it did take 4 hours to achieve. The lady at reception was very apologetic and did offer a discount at the end which I appreciated. I agree with the previous post, that this was not a relaxing way to spend my day, so I'm not sure if I would go back but i do think it could have been a much better experience if I had chosen a different day.

Great place for a haircut. I just wanted to take off the tips and get some shape back into my hair and that's exactly what I got. definitely a place I'd come back to.
