I have always had a pleasant experience at Gusto. This was my 3rd visit and I was not disappointed. Always asked if I wanted something to drink, well taken care of from the time I entered the salon. I chose Emile to do my cut, style and blow dry. Boy! I'm very pleased with the results (loads of positive comments received). Professional, thorough and polite - that's what I like! I would like to also highlight the kind gesture of one of the lady stylist (sorry, I forgot her name) - while I waiting for my conditioning treatment to work in, she wrapped my head in a towel so that I didn't end up catching a cold. That's why it deserves a 5-star.
I have been here a few times and I just absolutely love Gusto and I have been very lucky to have Ionas do my hair each time, he is just fantastic and so passionate in his work.. Will definitely be back again.. Thank you!!!
The gentleman that cut my hair was lovely - so let's get that out of the way. He told me I should use products which hydrate my hair, without turning into a salesperson.
I just disliked that I went in for a trim and ended up walking out with a kind of mullet style with a fringe which I in no way requested. I knew that he seemed to be trimming a lot of the front. At which point it was too late. My hair is not in amazing condition as I use a high lift tint on my roots every six weeks, which means it needs ammonia based colour. But I didn't expect to have that much cut. I think he knew that I was shocked, he started to tell me layers is better, and the front had to be cut so much as it was dry.
I would go back - I would just reiterate a trim only. I now have to wait a good six months before I can pull my hair back again.
