Bought a haircut and half-head of highlights only to be told, whilst I was having it aplpied, that there was a surcharge for the toner (an extra £10). I was forced to pay it (being sat in the chair, the toner being part of the colour (which I had already paid for as part of the package and it being in the process of being aplied!). I felt duped and conned by this, regardless of whether it was alluded to on the booking form. It felt like an underhand tactic to bump up prices once people had been lured in by the discount. Not classy conduct!
The salon was very busy and buzzing, however this did mean that I was seen to 20 minutes late, which wasn't a problem for me but could be for others. My hairdresser was wonderful, and the blow dry was absolutely fabulous. I thought this was very good for the cost, and I would go back definitely for a blow dry if not a cut.
Mila was the best! Best cut and highlights I've ever had in my entire life!
First time I've ever been to Gusto's, I was filled with trepidation as I sauntered down Brewers Street, feeling slightly out of my comfort zone. As soon as I entered I was looked after with such care and attention. I was fifteen minutes early and was seen almost straight away. I cannot recommend Miko highly enough, he seemed to know exactly what I wanted, even though my poor words of guidance were 'make me look fabulous'. By far and away the best blow dry I have ever had and I am so pleased with the colour, it looks incredibly natural and healthy. The %60 off is an absolute steal for the service I received, I have already booked my next appointment and have been banging on to my friends about it ever since.
I had a wash, cut and blow dry. The 'luxury conditioning' treatment was non-existent. It was ok.
