really friendly really great experience with haircut and conditioning treatment and of course really great price. i wouldnt say super luxurious as is quite a small salon but definitely what i needed !
So this is not a 'my hair is now orange' or 'I'm bald!' sort of bad review. This is a regular, run-of-the-mill bad review. To start from the beginning, the woman shampooing my hair was wearing rubber gloves the whole time. She didn't ask if I have skin allergies (I do), or if the rubber was tearing at my hair (it was). I can't imagine that this is a health and safety feature, as in my 25 years I've never had someone wear gloves whilst shampooing my hair before. The 'deep conditioning mask' which I paid extra for is the exact same deep conditioner I have at home - it's cheap and readily available on Amazon. I asked for a fairly basic cut and the stylist happily ignored me. I could've achieved similar, if not superior results by lopping an inch off the bottom of my hair with kitchen scissors. The blow-out was truly subpar - it is difficult to make my hair look flat, but this woman managed it. I can honestly say that it looks better when it's air-dried after a shower. The best thing I can say about this place is that it's not visibly dirty.
Bottom line: overpriced; I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend to a friend.
I really liked my Stylist, very cool guy. We've discussed my expectations regarding the Color and cut, I got a glass of wine and had myself treated nicely. After the mask my hair was super smooth and shiny. The haircut and Color reached my expectations. I was really excited about the bouncy hairstyle I left with, the best blow dry in my life! The Salon itself is not as "fancy" as it seemed from the Website, but it has great atmosphere.
