Ockenden Manor Hotel & Spa part of Historic Sussex Hotels

Ockenden Manor Spa, a harmonious blend of modern design and nature's inspiration.

Exceptional facilities in a unique environment. The South's newest and most utopian spa, fed by its own underground spring.

Nestling in the warm green of the West Sussex countryside, Ockenden Manor Spa has been designed to create a haven from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Purpose-built inside a 19th century walled garden, the contemporary airy structure contrasts and complements its neighbour, the Elizabethan Ockenden Manor, and shares it nine acres of parklands and gardens.

Really enjoyed my 2 day stay there. The facilities were clean and very enjoyable. The staff were very friendly. I would like to go back again.

If you like a traditional style of a hotel, low ceilings, uneven floors, lots of stair cases, four posters then this is the venue for you. Excellent meal in the evening, breakfast ok.
Spa treatments excellent and very relaxing.

Another lovely stay at Ockenden Manor Hotel and Spa.
A fantastic relaxing stay just a short journey outside of London, but you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Just what was needed!

I highly recommend this venue. The hotel is gorgeous - very old and creaky with bags of character and incredible food, whilst the separate spa is very modern with great facilities. I'd love to go back. My only criticism is that treatments are on the expensive side.

Really friendly yet professional hotel staff. Lovely cosy and comfortable. Felt very looked after. The food was amazing (the five course taster menu) and we loved it. The Spa was a lovely modern contrast to the hotel. Treatment staff were very nice and the treatments fabulous. Great facilities, very clean and not too busy. Overall a wonderful break. Thank you and hope to see you again.

The evening food was very nice, but I was a little disapointed with are room as there were stains on the carpet and wall and a funny smell outside in the corridor.
As for the spa it was ok with friendly staff but are robes looked like they had seen better days

I booked the one night spa break for my husband's birthday. This included use of the spa, an overnight stay at the hotel and a 3 course dinner at the hotel's restaurant. The spa was incredibly relaxing and tranquil. The facilities and quality of the spa were amazing. I booked my husband a 25 mins aromatherapy massage which he absolutely loved. The therapist followed his requirements perfectly. I signed up for a pedicure which was good but I expected more than just the file and paint I received. Our room was lovely - it had a four poster bed which was so comfortable, I didn't want to get out of bed the next day! The dinner at the Michelin starred restaurant was delicious and we even got some complimentary canapés and first course in addition to the 3 course menu. On checking out of the hotel, we were happy to see a wonderful open fire near reception, crackling away and making us hesitant to leave. We spent most of the afternoon in the spa again (because why ever not) since guests can use the spa until 4pm the next day. Overall, it was an amazing stay which I would recommend to anyone looking for a spa break. It was a little pricey but well worth it when you take into account all of the great stuff included.

Visited the ockenden manor spa on a mini revitalise break , we had a superior twin room which was nice but in the older part of the hotel , we had requested to stay in the newer spa but the rooms here were much more expensive , the spa facilities are lovely and he massage was nice my only complaint was it was supposed to be a 25 minute massage but was probably just under 20 which is a bit of a con as they leave you to get ready for ages before coming in , the food in the hotel however is amazing and I would recommend eating here , not a bad deal all in all
