I Have been having my hair cut here for about a year now and have to say it is the best hair cut i have had for many many years. The massage on arrival and during the shampoo is amazing and so incredibly relaxing that i can hardly walk to my chair. I'm extremely hard to please as an ex hairdresser but the cut Karen gives me is superb! I have also started to take my (very hard to please) 14 year old son and he is delighted and his cofidence has shot through the roof. His hair is incredibly hard to cut cos it is so straight and he has a double crown but Susi has made a fab job of it. My Mum and Sister have also started going so i must be looking good for them to follow! Give Obsession a go. i promise you won't be dissapointed!!! :)
Fabulous and not to be missed!
Highly recommend Danny and Becci for my lovely hair highlights and hair cut. Both give such attention to detail to ensure I am highly satisfied with the whole experience. Also wonderful reception as soon as I arrive so that I truly relax and enjoy my experience because I am a busy woman running 2 businesses and a parent so when I get to Obsession I just want to sit down and relax for a couple of hours! Love it and go to Obsession regularly and have also recommended it to many of my own clients.
I have been going to the Obsession Salon for many years for my hair cut and colour. On every visit the staff are always incredibly welcoming and the service is second to none. I especially love my welcome massage during my consultation and the head massage whilst having my hair washed- this isn't just a hair cut and colour but a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. My consultations are always thorough and I have only ever walked out of the door loving my freshly cut hair!
I went to the Obsession spa a while back for electrolysis (a treatment I have often) on a small area before I was due to go on holiday, as me normal salon didn't have any appointments. After about 3 minutes of electrolysis the therapist advised me it would be better off if she waxed the area. I questioned this, as electrolysis is an invasive treatment which makes the skin highly sensitive, but was assured it would be fine. The therapist went ahead and waxed the area (including all the red, raw hair follicles she'd already 'electrolised'). As she was the 'experienced' therapist I trusted her advice. What an idiot I was. My skin looked red and raw, but that's to be expected after these treatments so I left it. I left for my holiday and within 2 days, that area of my skin had developed particularly unsightly scabs that remained for the duration of my stay abroad. Scabby dots on your skin os not a good look whilst you're in a bikini ... in addition to any long lasting damage the therapist may have caused. The scabs had gone by the time I got back home, and from the general lackadaisical attitude I got from the various staff members, I got the distinct impression I would be wasting my time travelling back to obsession spa to complain. Would never, ever go here again - and certainly recommend people to avoid the spa.
