I had booked an appointment to get gel infills done on Saturday afternoon, and to begin with the owner called me an hour before the appointment to say that the time of the booking has to change, leaving me no choice on whether that was convenient or not. Had my appointment done and the first nail started to chip of sunday morning. I have called the salon on Sunday morning to arrange for this to be fixed. I was told to go in the same day anytime and by 6pm to get it sorted which at the time I found very helpful. Once i went to the salon I was informed that I wouldn't be served at the time and I was asked by the owner to come back Monday before 7,30 p. m, I asked whether I needed to make a booking to ensure that someone will see me and I was told that it wasn't necessary, I went in on Monday at 6,40 as agreed and was asked to wait to be served. I had to wait for over ten minutes for the receptionist to say that the owner wished to talk to me over the phone. The owner said that I wouldn't be served again,as she had booked an eyelashes appointment for another client instead and that I need to reschedule. When reacted to this mentioning that this is unacceptable and that I should have been notified in advance, she said that it's my fault that I had not booked in advance, and that they had no number to reach me (despite the fact that they called me on Saturday on my mobile). When I insisted that it was their mistake as the gel manicure is supposed to last for over two weeks and fell apart in less than 24h, she got defensive, suggesting that it's not their fault and even went down to saying that ' i shouldn't expect the world to revolve around me' and that there was no way that someone would see me. when I actually tried to book an appointment I was told that the next available appointment was on Tuesday 5th July (10 days after the original appointment) and that there is no provision for repairs. The owner's attittude was disghusting, she was diminishing and rude over the phone, raising her voice and yelling at me. I do not accept this attitude by anyone and I do not deserve to be treated that way. I will never be going back and will discourage friends from going too. Needless to say that at the moment over half of the nails have chipped off, far less than the two weeks the manicure is guaranteed to last.
