Basic salon with no frills but very nice staff and very efficient treatment. Not the worst wax I have ever had but not the best attention to detail either. Good job for the money paid.

First of all, the friendliness that I have come to expect here wasn't present on this occasion. There was no greeting or offer of a drink as usual. I don't know this was a coincidence that the manager wasn't there.
I had gel nails, which were great, and eyebrow tint and shape which unfortunately wasn't, so it's not easy to give a combined review for both. What I would say to start with is that just becuase someone books a beauty package it doesn't mean that they want to have these treatments simultaneously! It wasn't too bad having my nails done in the eyebrow chair but having my eyebrows done at the manicure table and trying to tilt my head back with no support was obviously really uncomfortable!
I wasn't asked on this occasion if I preferred threading or waxing, in fact I wasn't asked anything at all about my shape preference. I assumed that the girl was applying tint or cleanser, when actually she was just diving straight in with the wax without saying anything! I wish I had stuck with my intuition and stopped it right there but I let her continue whilst attempting to hurridly describe what I wanted before it was too late.
Unfortunately I was wrong to trust her to just go for it as I have ended up with one lovely eyebrow and one that has been overwaxed and overplucked on both top and bottom into a very thin point. When I said that I wasn't entirely happy, once again she launched herself at me, tweezers in hand, without even ASKING ME what the problem was! Apparently her idea was to make the other brow thinner, so that at least they were matching, despite not being the look that I have at all. At the suggestion of the woman who appeared to be in charge, more dye was reapplied in an attempt to tint some more fine hairs and thicken it up, but it made no difference once I had washed my face.
I don't usually wear make-up every day but my one eyebrow is so thin that I need to apply make-up to it every day now in order to make it look a bit better. And I hate looking at it in the mirror. I was offered a new appointment to fix it, but unless they can put the hairs back there is nothing they can do?! It's going to take weeks or even months to grow this back. I would go back as it's so convenient, but only to see Priti.
