For my first professional eyebrow threading I enjoyed the service at Nunhead Holistic health. The threading was quick and confident. The staff member who threaded my eyebrows was very keen for my feedback and made sure I was happy with the result. I had some skin breakage so I can't give it 10/10, however my eyebrows look good and I have been converted!
Really terrible experience. I will never go here again.
Their conduct was unprofessional from start to finish. For a start they changed my appointment time without even calling to ask first.
When I arrived the therapist was "out at the shops"
Once we got going it was the strangest and most uncomfortable experience I have ever had. The owner / boss - who didnt seem to have any real role or function - accept to undermine everything her other staff members said -
stood behind me next to my therapist for the entire blow dry treatment - sometimes just staring at me, asking random questions, or telling the poor girl off, intervening in the treatment and making comments.
The therapist doing my hair didn't seem to know how to make the shape I wanted and kept asking me what brushes she should use.
Nobody seemed to know what they were doing or how to create the desired look I wanted, which was a standard blow dry with a curl at the end, really very simple.
I left with greasy hair on the top from too much oil, dry straw ends from too much heat and without the curl at the ends which I had asked for, twice.
I felt uncomfortable and unable to relax the entire time, and far from being the relaxing blow dry I had hoped for, I left feeling perturbed on edge and angry that I had wasted money on this place when I could have done a better job myself.

Twas a lovely atmosphere. Friendly and very attentive staff. My appointment was slightly delayed but my overall experience was wonderful. Treatment was just what I needed.
My eyebrow wax was perfect apart from the fact I have a few scabs, this was also the case for above my lips. I have never had this happen anywhere else, I also noticed some short hairs were not removed. Overall, a painless treatment preformed by friendly and knowledgeable staff.
