I was really excited to have my hair cut here but came away feeling mislead by the other reviews here.
> Pros: nice hair products (shampoos etc), nice welcome and chatty staff. The grapes were a nice touch. Nice trim and conversation. Quick to be seen.
> Cons: I was shocked at how rough the treatment here was. I was in physical pain throughout the entire experience. The hair wash was fairly violent and uncomfortable. The stylist raked my ear with the comb and the hairdryer cord hit me in the face. The blow dry was painful - my scalp was burned more than once and I had to stop her to say. She was apologetic but I got the impression that she wasn’t used to doing blow drys as it wasn’t as bouncy as usual at the end finish which was a shame.
If I came back I would go with a more senior member of staff but I don’t think I would return.

The hairdresser was good, but he didn't pay much attention to what I was saying: he had an idea and he wanted to test it no matter what. Overall, was an OK experience, I don't know if I will come back.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. A lot of effort was made to ensure I was given exactly what I’d ask for. I will be going back.
