Very relaxing
The massage felt good at the tim and the pressure right, however the masseuse concentrated on one area and as such I have been in pain in one spot for two days. The reflexology was awful. It was more of a very over concentrated calf massage with about 3min on each foot of reflexology which wasn't done by hand but using a tool and was not effective or enjoyable. Overall disappointed to spend 45min having my cables rubbed down and my feet prodded with a tool. Being a reflexologist, disappointed
If I could leave less than one star I would. After starting twenty minutes late.. When I finally went had my massage I told the masseur I would like a lot of pressure, which I had to repeatedly say to her. I then had to ask three times for my lower back to be massaged (even though I had booked full body massage) the first two times she ignored more and then finally with light pressure massaged for under 5 minutes - once the massage was over she then quickly exited. Upon my arrival back at the reception the receptionist kept asking how my massage was with a funny look, when I told her I was disappointed she quickly said the masseur was unable to give a lot of pressure and wasn’t good with lower back, as she had already told the receptionist in a panic that she knew it wasn’t a good massage - I would like to know if someone is giving fully body massages should they not be qualified to massage the whole body? And give the required pressure that paying customers ask for? I’m a small female, so let me assure you it wouldn’t be the greatest pressure I look for. I was then told I should have called and said I wanted to focus on my back prior to the massage, I should book a Male next time (even though at the start I had stated I booked a female to feel comfortable) and that I should look at booking a physio if I have back problems. I do not book massages to be told it’s my fault and that I should look at other options, as a coach I regularly swim and train in the gym meaning my back gets quite tense and a Thai massage has always helped and I’ve never needed to look at ‘alternative’ options. I was told I would hear back and I’m still waiting - I’ve also e-mailed directly.
Normally a great place unfortunately I think there was an unusual circumstance this time. But don’t let that put you off.
Great and intense massage
