I don’t regularly get waxed (approx every year or so) but Heavily pregnant so needed to.
Hurt more than any other waxing experience and lady commented I have sensitive skin. When I got home skin was red raw and first layer ripped off, took over 2 wks to heal and looked awful in swimming costume. Contacted salon and was told I had to come in for a refund. When I went in, I was cornered in a treatment room and asked to show the manager (had already sent photos), as I’m 9 months pregnant just getting undressed and on a treatment bed felt like a huge inconvenience and invasive, especially as I had my small child with me. Refused and was still given the refund. Will not be back.
Pedicure was good despite them not allowing me to use massage chair due to pregnancy, a rule I found (as a trained massage therapist myself) completely ridiculous.
