Felt I was rushed in and out, not a nice experience at all. Haircut itself ok but there was no ambience and the hairdressers barely said anything to me.
Normally I have a great experience at Novel but this time I had a different hairdresser so things weren’t the same.
As soon I walked in it was different, there was no hello, no drink offered, wasn’t told the hairdressers name and the whole atmosphere was off.
The sink was full of dry men’s shaved hair, I wasn’t given an apron during my hair wash so got splashed, the hair wash was painfully rough, he used a dirty towel before correcting himself and finally I had to stop him from starting to cut my hair as he hadn’t actually asked what I wanted done.
The cut itself was fine (shorter than I wanted it but never mind) but was just a shame that the service was so different to usual.
Absolutely loved my experience at Novel! My stylist was so nice and he did a really great job. One of the best haircuts I have ever gotten.
Good until the blow dry, my hair was burnt. It literally smelt burnt, I had to go home and do a conditioning treatment.
