The salon is good, nothing special, but great value for money. It was a long process and I feel that the stylist’s grasp of English could be improved, but overall I had an ok experience

* WOMEN BEWARE! * This salon seemed to be run by three aggressive men. I booked a full head of highlights, cut and Brazilian blow dry. The foils took >2hrs to put in (even though I have fine just below shoulder hair) which meant the ones at the back had fried my hair by the time they came out. Product recommended 35-50 mins max development time. I then had the Brazilian blow dry, the Keratin was applied to my hair, then whilst still wet - hot GHD’s were run over my hair (frying again). The solution was then washed out and blow dried, the guy then tried to put serum on my hair (another big no after a Brazilian blow out!). Throughout the treatment I highlighted my concerns that my hair was being repeatedly fried - to which more men just came out to defend the stylist (I was mostly the only person in the salon on a Saturday afternoon). I asked politely to not have my hair cut and instead have a refund for that portion of the treatment. The Salon owner then got aggressive and refused, it ended up with me cornered, alone and surrounded by three foreign men - not quite the experience I would want to go through again. The salon is still refusing to refund the hair cut even though I did not have the treatment (as I was petrified what they would do to my hair!). I’m now home, with reasonably ok highlights but totally fried and damaged hair. Would not recommend - BEWARE if your a female!
