We took our 2yr old son here for an ad hoc hair cut yesterday whilst on holiday, after noticing how much it was getting in his eyes at lunch...we booked the appointment online, very convenient, and were pleased when we turned up that it was geared up to make children enjoy the experience with the different cars to sit in (he got to swap half way through as it wasn't busy, and the nice man cutting his hair was totally ok with it - neatly sidestepping a potential tantrum) and toys, and a TV to watch cartoons.
His hair was cut properly and the hairdresser was very patient with him looking around at everything, and he looked really smart and had a bit of a style to it afterwards - infinitely better experience than the previous place we went (where they just chopped his hair and gave him a mullet)
Gutted that we don't live near here as we would totally come back - but a trip from Derby to London seems extreme for hair! I would definitely make the effort to return if we visit London again though. Thank you Nottii Hill!
