Say hello to Sukru, our head barber/stylist who has been doing hair for over 35 years and has run his salon in Istanbul, Turkey for over 13 years. He also has years of experience as a private stylist in the city of London. Which styles or colours do you love doing? I love to work with scissors. My passion is indeed haircuts and doing layers on all types of hair. I am dedicated to understanding which haircut will best suit my clients' needs. What do you love about being a hairdresser? My entire life is about being a hairdresser and I never thought about doing any other career. Being a hairdresser makes me feel happy and satisfied and I love helping clients find the haircut that best fits them. How would you describe yourself in three words? Calm, peaceful and emphatic. Tell us something about yourself that might surprise others? I grew up in a hair salon. I spent all of my childhood watching my dad in his salon, and that's where my passion for hair started.

His client list has included figures in politics, artists, authors and many of well known figures. He was the founding partner and managing director of Adam Grooming Atelier salons that has 12 branches in London’s famous places for 10 years and streets including Harrods, Mayfair, Victoria, Liverpool Street, Canary Wharf Cabot Place, Fitzrovia and London Bridge until recently and now he started his new venture Noble Man Barbers which now owns and manages Bank Noble Man Barbers on Cornhill and Noble and ADAM grooming Atelier at The Broadway St James Park
