What a gem! I was in Chiswick for the day and wanted to get a wax done, so had a look for salons on Treatwell. I booked with Southbeach as the prices were extremely attractive, so to be honest I was a little sceptical. On my way to the salon I walked past a number of spas-what can I say, I am so glad I chose Southbeach! Upon entering, I immediately noticed a very pleasant smell (of lemongrass essential oil), as well as the beautiful interior decor. Sometimes these spas can feel somewhat clinical and sterile! Southbeach has a lovely ambience to it, all the decor and wall colours are beautiful with much attention to detail. Both the lady who greeted me as well as the therapist were absolutely lovely, and oh did I mention the resident cats?! Very happy with the treatment, and was impressed with the levels of cleanliness and hygiene standards of this venue. 100% recommended, I will definitely be back next time I am in Chiswick!

Staff were friendly but I realised at the end of my wax that the beautician had been reusing the same stick to apply the wax for my Hollywood. Also the wax is done extremely quickly compared to other places I have been, because rather than using short lips of wax they use long strips which causes more pain. The wax was £15.00 reduced from £30.00, so I guess you get what you pay for.
*Also when I paid I was told that they are raffling off the gift cards for £100, £75.00 and £50.00 for the best review, so I now question the reviews for this particular place.
