I was scheduled for a Hollywood, full leg as well as full arm and underarm wax before my holiday, which was the following day (I’m aboard now, meant to be celebrating my wedding anniversary)
The beautician was nice enough and the wax was okay. When it came to pay for the treatments, the staff attempted to extort an additional £40+ from me.
Before the beautician commenced the Hollywood wax, she recommended the hot wax and explained there will be an additional charge of £4, which I was happy to pay. When it came to pay, the ladies (both the rude receptionist and the beautician) tried to charge an additional £25 for this privilege - I managed to get around paying the additional £19.
The remaining monies they attempted to extort from me was for the arm wax. Initially they claimed “Ladies Arm & Underarm Waxing” isn’t what it’s name suggests, but just an underarm wax and so I would need to pay £17 more for this service.
At this point, I had enough going around in circles and paid the £17 as I had other beauty appts to attend. Now I sit in Mexico with a great big patch of hair on my right leg where the beautician missed. I’m so disappointed with the service and the fact that I paid extra for something that was falsely advertised is the nail in the coffin.
I won’t EVER recommend this “beauty salon” to anyone!

I really enjoyed my mani/pedi. The pedicure was very thorough and they also gave me a complimentary back and neck massage while I was doing my pedicure which was incredible. I really loved it. Everything was great. The pedicure was my favourite part. There was an exfoliating foot massage and a cream sock conditioning thing, which left my feet feeling incredibly soft. I highly, highly recommend paying a little extra for the luxury pedicure.
