They tried however as I have mixed race hair it isn’t the easiest to cut. They said they could do it but couldn’t. They offered to cut it whilst dry- not possible. Then blow dried it with no products, I had to explain that mixed hair NEEDs products before drying. Then once it was dry she used an Afro comb to comb it... I left looking like I had just woken up from a very rough sleep at night. If you don’t have straight hair, this place isn’t for you.
I used to be a regular at this salon but the service has gone down immensely. My latest haircut was rushed, uneven and carelessly done. The atmosphere was overall cold and unfriendly, with staff giving me very little notice. Some of the staff were also not wearing their masks over their nose. Overall, I will be finding another hairdresser after the last couple of disappointing experiences here.
Honestly the worst experience I had to leave. I didn't get the lady I requested nobody got in contact with me I had to sit there for over 40mins to wait for someone else which was fine because I wasn't comfortable with the male. However the lady who I did have tried to chop all my hair off to one length. All I wanted was a trim because I'm growing my hair out. Never in my 25 years have I ever had to walk out on an appointment. I would never go back there again.
All services were very good and painless! Shokofeh was very thorough and gentle and her attention to detail was impeccable, she made me feel very comfortable which was very much appreciated as I have severe anxiety, especially when going into salons. She asked me if I was happy with the service after every treatment which made me feel comfortable enough to say if there was anything I wasn’t happy with (there weren’t any) overall the whole experience was great and the salon was clean & beautiful!
