Ambience - the salon I feel could be a bit neater, there are a lot of boxes and clutter lying around in plain site which is a bit off putting.
Staff- I had my gel removed by a new staff member. I saw her being instructed on how to remove gel before my appointment; she was lovely and very sweet and did a great job, but she was very jumpy, nervous and anxious.
I don't think this is her fault, but perhaps more the fault of poor management. She had only just been shown what to do and the manager left her alone for most of my appointment. She was a bit distressed and wasn't confident with what she was doing which made me anxious and worried about my nails.
Further to that, she hadn't been taught how to run the salon so I had to wait for the manager to finish her other treatment to process my payment (while on my lunch break and pressed for time).
Again, my nails were done well and it's great value for money, but I think the management should have spent more time mentoring the new staff member and not expecting her to complete treatments without supervision. Especially when it is her first day at the salon and when she mentioned repeatedly that she had never done this treatment before.
