If you want to spend your massage being shouted at because you’re not relaxed enough come here. Throughout the massage I was told that I was making his job difficult because I ‘couldn’t relax’. The whole time I was made to feel like I was doing something wrong. In the end I ended up not telling him that he was pushing my face too hard into the massage table for fear he would just tell me I was doing something wrong again. At the end of the massage I had red marks all over my face and found it hard to chew food because it felt like my jaw was out of place. It’s a shame because he clearly knows what he is doing with the body, but he needs to learn to be a bit gentler with clients. Especially those who might find it more difficult to relax due to ptsd, or other mental health issues- if you need someone who is more sensitive to your needs, I would find someone else. He also used a massage gun at the end of the treatment with very little warning or explanation- and cranked it up to full towards the end of the massage. I felt like I was going to throw up, and couldn’t wait to get out of there.
