I booked a ‘shellac spa pedicure’ and a ‘shellac manicure’
Pedicure was nice and has lasted well.
Manicure - I booked a ‘shellac manicure’ - description says ‘classic shellac file, includes file and buff’ for £22. Lady started the manicure, she placed my hands in warm water to soak and then used some sugar paste to massage my hands - after this she got a call from the manager saying that i have to pay an extra £15 for the manicure - this was very confusing as all I wanted was file and buff and shellac paint - it appears that the woman had started a ‘spa manicure’ on me (with the hand soak and massage etc) - then she told me to pay an extra £10.
I paid the extra £10 just to save hassle but this was so confusing and I didn’t understand what I had booked and what I was paying for. Also how did the manager know to ring and advise of this? Felt pressured to pay as I was made to feel that i had booked the wrong manicure on the Treatwell app.
The manicure was okay but after one week the polish has cracked and peeled and i was easily able to pick it off - not worth the £32 I paid at all.
Lady who done my treatments was very friendly, but she was working on her own in the salon all day - she was constantly distracted by the phone ringing and people walking in asking for treatments - she was run off her feet, did not understand why they did not have another member of staff working.
Nice member of staff but will not return here
I really enjoyed my experience of Navara Beauty in Wellingborough. Everyone was welcoming and I spent a bit of time talking to people. The Spa Pedicure was brilliant, they were able to work miracles in turning my trotters back into feet. I feel ready to embrace sandals again. I would definitely go back, and I am already planning my next visit.
I actually had to reschedule so I had Aneta instead of Kinga, I’d never been for a massage before but she instantly put me at ease, the lavender was really soothing and my back is no longer hurting, will definitely visit again!
