I’m usually the first to rave about this spa—every hot‑stone massage I’ve had here has been a solid 10/10. Sadly, last night just didn’t live up to that track record. My therapist waited for my friend’s consultation to finish, so my 6 pm slot actually began at 6:09 and wrapped at 6:59. That nine‑minute loss might sound small, but when you come in aching for the full hour, you feel it.
The facial that followed felt rushed and a bit chaotic: intense pressure that stayed painful even after I asked for less, a five‑minute stretch where the therapist left me alone under the LED mask, and a messy product application at the end (my lips are still tingling this morning). I left more tense than when I arrived, which is the opposite of what I hope for here.
I know off‑days happen, but I’d love to see the usual organisation and care return—timers set accurately, smoother transitions, and pressure adjusted when a client says it hurts. I’m still a fan of this spa, just hoping the next visit feels like the stellar experiences I’m used to.
Only feedback I would give is that when I have gone for a sports or deep tissue massage the last few visits the therapist’s focuses a bit too long on certain parts of the body and then less on other parts. I feel it needs to be a little more balanced and spend time equally on each part of the body, unless if stated to-the therapist to focus on a certain part when receiving a massage.
