The therapist Lili must be really experienced. I went there because I was just recovering from a cold and also had a sore back. After the acupuncture (even before we moved on to cupping) I already felt my tight spot on mid/lower back soften. I'd recommend to call ahead to confirm your appointment though, as the front desk may be confused whether you're confirmed or not, which happened in my case.
2nd time out of 2 I have arrived and my appointment has been messed up. The first time they gave me the wrong type of massage which I specified twice over the phone, once I arrived, the only therapist available could only give a swedish massage, not what I wanted or booked.
The 2nd time was even worse, I arrived and they said they had double booked me! They blamed it on Wahanda...And couldn't help me for another 2 hours....
Use your head, don't go here even if they are cheap, time is money and they will just waste your time like no other.
Didn't start well with me turning up for a 12 o'clock appointment and them claiming that it had been booked at 11. They also claimed that they had been trying to call me for the last hour but it then transpired they had the wrong number. It would help if they confirmed bookings via email/text but I was told this was not their policy. They wanted an extra £10 to treat me which I managed to negotiate to £5. So far not awful but it was pretty poor customer service.
Anyway the therapist didn't even look up from her phone when I was shown through - just a terse 'over there please'. The first half hour was spent with her sitting down smearing oil over my back with no real care or process. When she did eventually bother to stand up she would occasionally lean on the bed with one arm while rubbing the other one over me. Some parts of me were smothered in oil, some parts dry and sore from the continued rubbing with no oil barely at all. She would also occasionally just hop from my back to arm with no rhyme nor reason at all - there was zero care or attention, or even interest. Perhaps the funniest moment was when she went to crack my fingers, and just kind of pulled my hand all at once in a lacklustre fashion. The whole thing also mercifully only lasted 45 minutes for an hour long appointment too.
I could go and on about this in more detail but suffice to say this was the worst 'massage' experience I have ever had, and I've had plenty of treatments in my time. I wish I'd checked the reviews on here before going. This is I'm afraid as bad as it gets - avoid like the plague.
Lili was really nice and started my treatment earlier as I got in there bfr the appt so that was nice of her , i would recommned music in thte treatment room instead so all the noises from reception or street wnt be heard or noticeable .
After arriving 10 minutes early for a full body massage I was seen about 10 minutes past the hour. I was asked as soon as I got in the massage room itself if I want to pay an extra £6.00 for a sports massage, I said no and clearly the masseuse was annoyed by this. She said a relaxation massage will be pointless (despite the fact that the voucher I had brought from KGB had the option of having a relaxation massage). She continued to keep trying to upsell and when she realised I wasn't going to pay any more money became increasingly more pissed off. She gave a half hearted massage with no effort, yawning throughout and making it clear that if I wasn't going to pay anymore money she wasn't going to make any effort! When she asked me to turn over to massage my front she more or less threw the towel on me. The whole hour was basically her rubbing oil on my skin with no effort whatsoever. When I left I made a complaint to the manager and then was stopped by another customer outside who had overheard me complaining and said that she too hadn't had the best experience either. The manger did call me back to apologise, which I appreciated, but unfortunately the damage had already been done. Ive been going for massages via KGB for 3 years and this was the WORST by far. STAY AWAY from this venue!
