Priya is the most amazing eyebrow threader ever, and that’s coming from a lifetime Londoner who has had her fair share of trying Central London salons! The nail technician called Neeta (Greek girl) was also absolutely amazing and better quality than places in central London. Can’t wait to go back!!!
Not the best manicure. Had my nails done while waiting for our car to be serviced locally. While the girl did an okay job at shaping my nails and cutting the cuticles, the paint part was rather disastrous. I normally wear glasses which sadly I wasn't that day. Even so I still saw a few nails being badly painted with thick bits of shellac dried near the nail bed and it was lifting in some
corners. She tried to file it but hurt my cuticles and obviously only made it worse. I then asked the nail technician to redo a few nails which she did. When I got home and put my glasses on I noticed more areas where the paint covered skin or
cuticles and 3 days later it started lifting and peeling. Also I believe the gels they use are not the best quality as in some areas its still a little tacky and feels soft(it leaves a dent if I press the nail in). Not sure whether it is a lack of skill, poor quality gel polish or both.
At Barkingside - Unbelievable eye watering price tag for a very simple dark brown hair colour on just below hair length. Mind boggling! £120! Nothing else, no blow dry,no styling no haircut just a permanent hair colour. Just wet hair tide up and got home. Shockingly charged me £120. I paid but not happy. Average hair colour is approx £60. I didn’t do the research but I will now, and…hairdresser started the dye from the bottom of the head instead of top! Weird! This is my bad experience going there first and definitely is my last. Unless your happy paying 120£. & no price list brochure..nah I don’t recommend this place to anyone.
Went in to get my eyebrows threaded. The place has no customers when I arrived, which should’ve been a warning. I clearly explained to the technician that I just wanted them tidied up as I wanted to keep them masculine. The technician claimed to have understood my request and seemed confident. She then proceeded to thread them to look like women’s brows. Not to mention using a very painful and harsh technique.
Not giving me a chance to check them until she was finished. I was horrified at the result. She was convinced she tidied them up but both of her colleagues agreed that they were over-threaded and did not look masculine. The head technician offered to do them should I ever return but I definitely WILL NOT. Incompetent staff and clearly inexperienced.
