Colour and foot massage were both great. Not the neatest job and my toe nails have not been been filed straight at all they’re slanting off in odd angles! Been a regular at this salon for years but I think it’s time to find some where new unfortunately.

Lovely lady would did my nails. The manager working despite only having a baby 11 weeks ago! Lovely manicure - love the nutral range of gel colours here.

Booked a shellac/gel manicure and pedicure with May through the treatwell app as I had read good reviews on her. Quite disappointed to turn up and be informed when questioned that this wasn’t with the use of the foot spa as this was my main reason for choosing this particular salon, offered to pay more and then was told this was normally £35 by itself (I had paid £45 via treatwell already) I wasn’t given the option to pay x amount extra on top so just left it as I felt like a nuisance for asking already. This wasn’t made obvious in the description otherwise I would have gone elsewhere as for me this kind of thing is a luxury and if I’m spending money on a pedicure I want the whole works to warrant spending any amount of money rather than doing it myself. Another girl in the salon did my pedicure whilst May and another woman attended to another clients nails between them. As lovely as she was she hurt my cuticles, I felt too embarrassed to say anything but I eventually had to say I was sorry but it was hurting a bit to which she apologised. Again she was nice however I specifically booked in with someone else based on their good reviews. In the end she did a good job and May did my nails.
The whole experience wasn’t up to my standards and I was also informed I would need to pay £5 for shellac removal on top of what I had already paid. I had paid in advance for the manicure and pedicure and this wasn’t specified when booking. I went to pay at the end of the treatment and was told they could accept cash only. I only had Apple Pay so then had to wait a further 10 minutes whilst the staff member called the boss to arrange method of payment for the £5. There was a lot of back and forth via WhatsApp between them and eventually I said I really had to get going and supplied my email address for the boss. I left the salon feeling pretty stressed and annoyed as you can imagine, not having had remotely anything near the luxury experience I had hoped for. Nails look alright but in future I will save myself £50 and do them myself or spend more money for a proper luxury experience. I will not be returning. I came here to destress and unwind and left feeling more stressed than I did when I went in.
