I had nail extensions originally and three nails broke in 8 days as well as 3 other nails cracked so I had to have them removed. They offered me a discount for repairing the 3 broken ones which was pointless because they were all on the edge of breaking. I still ended up paying £53 total for gel extensions that didn't last plus removal and a gel manicure. Basically £53 for a gel manicure, thin nails, and a cut from a cuticle being trimmed too short.
Arrived 10 mins early and was kept waiting for half an hour the lady who was doing my nails didn’t even know what I needed so she carried on as if I wanted just shellac polish on my nails. I was booked in for nail extensions and was told it would take 1-1/2 hours . I had to be out by 12/30 so 2 ladies did my nails . Not very good communication between staff!!!
While other staff members appeared to be friendly, the lady allocated to me couldn’t have been more miserable and spoke no English. She seemed annoyed she had to do my nails!! I’ve never experienced anything so slow either. The appointment was supposed to be 1 Hour for hands and the same for feet. She went over by 20 minutes on my hands which would have made me late for my next appointment so I had to request if she could do my feet in 40 mins instead. I made no complaints whatsoever! The woman didn’t understand me so had to translate through another worker. The other staff member made it clear that I’d be paying the same and no refunds!! I continued to be polite and said this was fine despite the fact she hadn’t stuck to the time allocated!!! I couldn’t be bothered with the negativity but sadly things did not improve...
The woman doing my nails cut my fingers twice!! Still hurts. I continued to make no complaints....Also, one has already chipped and on one finger it’s already coming off on one side (loose). My nails were done yesterday.
Even on my exit, I said thank you about 3 times and goodbye. Nobody replied!! The woman who did my nails walked off to sulk. Despite the pain caused to my fingers through carelessness and a bit of a crap job- what really peed me off was the lack of friendliness, zero politeness and common courtesy. I wouldn’t be writing this if the woman who did my nails smiled just occasionally and had the decency to say goodbye. The fact I now see it’s not the best job too, which could not be seen before leaving also leads me to write this. I also feel following that experience that if this was raised face to face, it would not be taken kindly and professionally.
