This was not a ‘luxury’ manicure or pedicure. The therapist was pretty off-hand and the owner or manager needed to step in to translate or clarify what I was asking for, ie smoothing of my nails which had been roughed up by the emery board, before applying the polish. I was made to feel I was asking for something annoying and extra but even the customer next to me quietly said I needed to be firm about what I wanted. Whatever, overall it wasn’t a pleasant experience. Nails look good tho.
