Nails shape was wonky, was rushed to pick a colour only from a particular section. Had my nails done in the other Nail'd salon at clapham junction and it was loads better !
I had gel extensions and to get the design I originally wanted would have been £100 and when I told the manager I had allready paid online she seemed strangely offended by this and then when I showed her my phone she muttered it must have been a treatwell deal and walked off. I was happy to choose another design and pay an extra £10 for a chrome effect. I don't mind paying a lot for nails at all but I would expect them to be better than an average salon, the extensions took 2 hours and were bumpy, lumpy and not straight. The girl who did them was lovely and she really tried her best but the overall result and experience I really didn't enjoy and wouldn't recommend. The friend who recommended me the salon in the first place said the same thing that she liked her nails but wouldn't go back and felt rushed and pressured by staff. I would book the kings road salon and go there but definitely wouldn't have extensions.
I always come here for the quality that the ladies provide. Most of them are thorough. I had a classic pedicure which always lasts a lifetime and im always delighted with and i had a last minute shellac quicki on my hands. What i've noticed, despite how new the nail vanish is within a week it eventually chips or creates air bubbles around the cuticle area. That doesnt happen to me if i get a classic shellac manicure, (that includes a soak, buffing, cuticle cut, etc) only if its the quicki, fairly disappointing of course. I cant choose the classic shellac manicure anymore because i have terrible eczema on my hands which whenever any liquid or substance touches it it gets crazy painful and a lot of breakage comes. Anyways, the pedicure was lovely, the shape wasnt dead on perfect but im still happy.
