This is probably my fault that I assumed it would be easy to get the polish removed at another salon. I assumed I have gel polish on, but if didn't come off with acetone even after a prolonged soaking. The manicurist buffed the polish off one of my nails, but they got off my nail with it and got through to my finger and it hurt and it's still very sensitive whenever something touches it, very inconvenient. I did warn that my nails are thin.
They left other nails as is. I wish I didn't do anything at all, because it looked worse.
The manicurist offered to come in later and try again, but I really needed to get clean nails that day before an important meeting. I felt downcast that I couldn't get such an easy thing done that I relied on.
Again, it's not the salon's fault, I should have asked about the polish at the salon where my nails were done.
