I booked a Brazillian waxing, as I was going on a holiday and decided to book with "My Brazillian Waxing" in East London, as they had very good reviews and was fairly cheap! But unfortunately I ended up not having my treatment.
I went to the place at 10am, where my appointment was and was greeted by a lady, who seemed to be very confused and stressed. I said, I had an appointment at 10, whereto the lady said "okay" and asked me to take a seat in the waiting area without any further guidance.
More women were waiting, but the lady at the front desk seemed to be the only one in the salon and had to do both treatments, greetings and payments.
When I had waited for 25 min. without any notice and apologies about the waiting time, I asked the lady, if there was going to be much more waiting time, as I was booked in for 10am.
Thereto she said 15 min., which would have meant I would have waited for 40 min., even though I had booked the appointment two weeks in advance. Unfortunately I had to leave, as I was running out of time, so I ended up not having my treatment.
The lady apologized without any explanation for the 40 min. wait and let me out.
The place itself looked very nice and clean, but unfortunately I had an unprofessional experience because of the unexpected and non explained waiting time - and I feel bad for the lady, who had to do it all by herself.
Sadly I won't be returning to "My Brazillian Waxing".

I've been to this salon before, it was well priced, clean and the lady who did my wax was so brilliant I left a tip.
This time I had another lady who didn't speak much English (only a few words). She gave me very little time to get undressed, clearly in a rush before she even started. She put the wax on and wasn't giving it enough time on the skin so the hair was snapping and not removed from the follicle properly. When she said she was finished I had to sit and point at areas and ask for it to be waxed repeatedly., which took so much longer and she seemed vexed that I was asking her to do it again. I've never had to ask for this, it's part of the job to look and see where the hair is and remove it properly. I am left with hair in patches and black dots where the hair snapped and wasn't removed properly. I did speak with her and let her know I was disappointed and soon as she left the room she began to laugh. The whole experiencing was very upsetting. I will go to the salon again but will never let that particular lady do it. As soon as I get back from holiday I will be putting in a complaint.
