I had eyelash extensions done at Mint By Kaye at the end of a very long and hectic day. For some reason I often find that going to a beauty salon is intimidating eventhough I love beauty and pampering, I always think that the people using these places are just so much more glamorous than I am. I work in a gym so my usual get-up is more sporty than glam, but at Mint it really didn't matter. The atmosphere is more cozy and friendly than posh. I was welcomed very warmly and even allowed to leave my groceries behind the reception (see what I mean about the not so glam). The appointment was running a little late, so I was offered some tea and a very relaxing hand massage, a very nice touch I might say. Kaye was very friendly and professional. The room was warm and had relaxing music playing. The lashes turned out great and I really feel like she put a lot of effort into getting them right, not just getting me out the door as quickly as possible. I will definately be booking again for infills, and I'm already browsing their website for facials and other treatments I could go for. Thanks Mint!

Had highlights and a cut with sophie, I am so happy my colour is perfect and the cut really suits me, never left a hairdressers so happy, thank you!

Ladies' Haircuts
I came out worse than I went in, avoid Sophie at all costs. After explaining several times throughout the consultation and haircut that I wanted layers throughout as my hair as it lacked body I came away with less layers than I went in with, the only layers in front were the ones that I had when I went in. Even though I was promised them right till the end with ' I will put the layers in after I have dried your hair along with the fringe ' when I pointed out that there were no layers at the front I was fob off with layers would look funny in the front. I would have taken this up with the management at the time however I was too angry to speak and will now have to spend to get a further proper haircut.
