Ashleigh and Hannah did a fantastic job on my wedding hair and makeup, both in the trials and on the day itself.
Throughout the trial, I was fully in control of my look by being able to point out what I liked and disliked, and what could be changed for the wedding day. This was particularly helpful for the makeup side because my makeup trial was actually the first time I’d ever used makeup, so it was all very new to me. Ashleigh ensured I was one hundred percent happy from start to finish, and she even recommended a product to use on my face until the wedding day to help the makeup stay put.
On the wedding day, their punctuality was incredible. Ashleigh and Hannah arrived exactly at the moment we agreed upon beforehand (7:30am), and did the hair and makeup and any touch ups for myself, my three adult bridesmaids, my junior bridesmaid and my mam. Nothing was rushed and they were all done and left exactly at the moment we had agreed (10:50am) - very important as we stayed at a hotel close to the venue on the night before the wedding and we had a firm check out time to adhere to! Looking back on the photos taken at my trial, both Ashleigh and Hannah were more than happy to make any minor last minute changes and Hannah had shown my bridesmaid how to properly fix the veil, so that it could be done after my dress was put on. My hair and makeup lasted the entire day!
There was a minor hiccup before the trials took place as my original makeup lady had a sudden family emergency and was therefore unable to carry out the trial at short notice. Ashleigh dropped everything to make sure I didn’t need to reschedule my trials, and reassured me that all will go swimmingly on the wedding day - indeed it did and we all had a lovely, calm and relaxed wedding morning. Ashleigh and Lucy did my hair and make on my wedding day and Lauren did my trial. They did a brilliant job and made me and my party feel at ease. They were friendly, patient and professional with good communication. I would recommend them and not hesitate to return.
I attended the Builder Gel on Natural Nail and Builder Gel with Extensions with Ashleigh. From the moment I walked into the room I felt at ease and confident that I had made the right choice to go with Mink Studios to start my nail tech journey. Ashleigh was very informative, knowledgeable, very friendly and happy to help with any questions or worries I had. I would highly recommend!!! Was taken a back with the amount of positive feedback received and felt very encouraged and proud of my attempt. She provided 2 sets of different gels to use to give extra practise and provided the kits at an extra cost but gave me everything I needed. Can't wait to book in for my E-File and Manicure course too! x
