Not a good experience.
I turned up for my wedding trial and the ship was shut up, after sitting in rush hour traffic for 45 minutes and feeling like an idiot thinking I had the date or time wrong. Turns out the make up artist had gone home ill. Understandable but would have been nice to have given notice. As a one off this wouldn't have been too bad but I was also told that I would have 2 artists on the day of the wedding for only 1 to turn up which resulted in my make up being finished minutes before heading down for the ceremony, which was not the plan.
After querying costs I did eventually get a reply but communication was a slow poor process.
Lavina, who did my rescheduled make up trial and my actual make up on the day was great. She listened to everything I asked for, did a lovely job and was very easy to get on with. I'd have her do my make up again but I wouldn't use Mink after this experience. I just felt that communication was terrible with me being told one thing and another being the case. When I mentioned my issues I will say that I was met with apologies and explanations but honestly I was left feeling very disappointed.
Amazing experience fir my this'll hare and makeup. Definitely recommend Jade
