Note - I have asian/ oriental hair which may be harder or just different to cut and have rated the first experience, not the second.
The hairdresser was polite and friendly, but the cut was poor. When I styled it at home the ends were uneven with long bits poking out, I have a fringe hangover on one side where I shouldn't, and the "main" fringe was cut far too short to pin up which I specifically asked for before cutting, so now it is constantly flopping into my eyes. I left the salon feeling pretty mortified.
I wrote to them with this feedback and the owner got in touch right away, was super apologetic, processed a refund and offered for me to come in to fix the haircut as best he could which was very kind of him and I felt like I was in a safe pair of hands, bit unfortunate it had to get to that point though.
It is a very laid back, polite environment. I loved the 'anything is possible' attitude when I asked if they provide other services, such as bridal up-do's etc.
My hairdresser was very chatty, but in the nicest possible way. She also made sure to the tiniest detail that I had my hair the way I wanted it and I was happy.
I think it's just a relief to have something like this in Central London, where there's no fake customer service and everything is just genuinely well done.
