My hair was cut by Hayden. Hayden is a very friendly and lovely young man (I can’t stress this enough). Though Hayden is very kind, I felt very uneasy and worried throughout my haircut. I felt slightly anxious as Hayden was rushing my haircut (there was someone waiting behind me for him to cut their hair) and even before I realised this small things he was doing made this apparent. In addition to this, I found my hair wash which from experience is normally v relaxing and gentle very rough and not enjoyable (probably because slightly rushed). Whilst getting my hair dried I also got banged in the head with the hairdryer.
In the end, I was happy with my cut and my blow dry wa good, however I really feel as though my whole haircut ‘experience’ should have been better.
The hairdresser I had was really thorough with the consultation, great with my hair and I really appreciated how much he communicated what he’d be doing, etc. The thing that let it down was the almost 45 min wait - my appointment was at 10.45, I was told when I arrived there would be a 15 min wait as they were running behind, then I was told another 2 minutes - but I didn’t get seen til around 11.20, and although I do appreciate how apologetic the hairdresser was, I didn’t anticipate that much of a wait at all.
