I was informed on arrival that a trainee would be doing my nails for a discounted price - I had booked a full price treatment and was not pleased to be put on the spot like this. I was not given a choice. My manicure did not meet my expectations: my nails were shortened a lot and filed into different shapes, and the finish was uneven. I was disappointed with the experience as a whole.

I arrived at the salon and was welcomed, it seemed like a buzzy place but slightly disorganised as staff were trying to work out how they could fulfill appointments when they were running behind. I wasn’t in a rush so didn’t mind waiting a few minutes extra but this is why I marked 4 stars as was a bit unprofessional. Everyone was super friendly and my therapist was very sweet and encouraged me to relax. She used the perfect pressure for how I was feeling on the day and the 45 minutes flew past. I floated out the room afterwards and the benefits of the massage have continued all week. Would recommend for great location, and great price
