Attended on a hot day for a lunchtime pregnancy massage. Was warmly greeted and given a glass of water. The massage was different to any I have had before; I would describe it as pressing points along my body as I lay on each side (being eight months pregnant) fully clothed and under a towel (I was quite hot). The massage was very nice. My back/shoulders might have welcomed a little more pummelling although the masseur did work on some knots. What was very interesting was that the masseur, who has additional expertise in reflexology and other treatments, immediately spotted various issues I have had with my feet and offered advice on my 'crunchy knees' (connected to a fall I had and unrelated to pregnancy) when I told him about them, which was intriguing, and I hope to go back in the future for further assessment and treatment.
The treatment I had was very good. They did not just dive into the treatment, as it was my first time they gave me a consutation first to understand my needs and how the accupnture could help which was very valuable.
