Acupuncture and consultation was nice. They talked me through everything they were planning on doing so that I could relax.
What I didn’t like was the selling me a package afterwards of acupuncture and massage. She tried to charge me for the package which was £300, even when I told her that I’ll think about it and for her to just charge me for my session.
Therapist had to ask me how long the massage was booked for, made his assessment on areas of tightness, some of which I didn’t agree, which he put it down to ‘numbness’. He gave me assessment first but I quickly realised that those are his ‘assumptions’ instead, as most them are incorrect. He then went on to tell me how experienced he was etc.to justify his findings. At one point, he said how awful to wake up every morning with this pain etc, which is utterly ridiculous, but I wonder if he had to use these scare tactics to get clients on his side and encourage them to buy a course of treatment - very sad and I feel sorry for those who did. As a body worker myself, I would strongly advise him to let his treatment speak of his worth -unfortunately he scored extremely poor. I think he has some skills but he has much to improve.
