Not for waxing. When I arrived at the venue, there was no one to greet me, just a young girl chatting away on her phone; it turns out she was the receptionist, some reception she had offered...
Anyway, the therapy room is upstairs, it's a fair size room but it's unfinished and in need of some paint and good lighting and with no ambience; on the positive side it seemed clean.
When the treatment started it seemed ok, the wax was a bit warmer than I'd have liked but not burning so didn't say anything, however most people may not have liked the temperature.
Some 20 minutes in she seemed to hit a snag where couldn't get the strip off; she had to literally tug at it 3 or 4 times before it came off and by then I was in a lot of pain. At that point I kind of gave up on any expectation and just waited for the treatment to be finished.
When it was over there was a huge red patch on my leg (now it's a bruise), I had strips of wax all over my legs (I think she put the wax on and forgot to go over it with the strip), my bikini line looked exactly the same as before but with some hairs that has snapped and I still had a lot of hair left everywhere.
When I got dressed my pants and shoes stuck to my skin and going back home was seriously uncomfortable. The wax came off after a good scrub in the shower.
All in all the therapist is very nice but clearly waxing is not her bag so I will not go back and would advise anyone to seriously think about it before going there for this treatment. I am sure she's good at the other services she offers, but wax is NOT a service she should be allowed to provide.

My visit to Mayor Beauty Place at Sky Shopping City was a big disappointment. When I arrived, the lady did not offer to take my coat or advised where to put my jeans so bundled then on the floor next to the treatment table/bed.
I booked Brazilian hot wax and she started performing a strip wax. I asked why she is using strip instead of hot wax but her reply was very unclear and as she was already heating the wax, I replied that she should do what she thinks is the best way of waxing. I am fair and fairly hairless Nordic person, normally the wax with a professional, takes around 10mins tops.
The lady at Mayor Beauty Place did not either get the wax temperature right or her technique was poor (or both) and she was still waxing after half an hour by which time I had stopped her several times as it was getting painful. I stopped her the final time after half an hour by which point there was wax, loose hair and talking powder everywhere. (including on the top of my clothes which were on the floor) I left at that point and I was completely speechless of the service provided. As I nipped out for this appointment on my lunchbreak, I spent rest of the day my underwear sticking my sore skin at work. And there was still lots of hair left in the places she was to wax it off.
I got in contact with Treatwell to see if a full refund could be obtained however I was informed that the Salon refused this as they confirmed that they had performed the service. The salon did offer a complimentary back massage instead however I turned this down as I don’t understand how a back massage compensates the fact that I did not get the service that I paid for – a professional Brazilian hot wax. And I now need to get another wax and pay a second time to another salon.

WORST WAX I HAVE EVER HAD. I ended up stopping her half way because it was so bad. The wax was too hot, she was breaking the hairs pulling it out and her technique and everything was awful. I had to pay to go somewhere else and get it finished/sorted out. Also had asked for a Brazilian and she didn't leave a strip. Clearly had no idea what she was doing.

I had to sit backwards on a chair and had a back neck and shoulder massage before masseur started on my head. Chair was a bit uncomfortable as it was very wide and difficult to get my legs around. However I enjoyed the treatment overall and felt very relaxed at the end. I could hear lots of chatter outside hence the mark down for ambience.
