Booked this through treatwell and treatment was advertised as £15. Phoned up Matilda Rose to check they had got me in and told them the treatment I had booked in for as described on website to check if they did your cuticles with this treatment as there was no description for this treatment. Gentlemen I spoke to on phone asked someone else to confirm and he said yes. Got a reminder email on the day to say booked in with Sue. Didn't have Sue and a young girl very nice and pleasant but obviously hadn't alot of experience. Firstly I sat on the bed and had to get my feet into a foot spa, so my knees were up right and i had to sit upright to enable my feet to get into this very uncomfortable! She then did a foot scrub washed off, then filed 3 nails on one foot and all nails on the other foot. I then had to get off the bed put my shoes on walk through the salon and sit on a sofa that was inches off the ground, so she could do my cuticles. The girl then sat crossed legged on the floor whilst i balanced one foot on her trousers and the other on a dirty looking floor. I then had to keep on stretching round at the most uncomfortable angles to get one foot under the lamp whilst trying to balance the other on her leg. She then suddenly remembered she hadn't put the tissue between my toes to stop them from sticking together (only after she looked at Sue doing another clients pedicure I think) but this was only done on one foot! When I came to pay I was told that would be £20 , when I explained that I was quoted £15 on the website then again that morning on a reminder e.mail, I was then almost shouted at by Sue and a gentlemen explaining that I had already had 20% off to bring the price to £20 and £ 15 was just for file and gel paint and I hadn't had that. I said again that I had even rung up to confirm what I was having so it wasn't my thought if i what i had was different. I then got back who did I speak to. I felt so embarrassed and uncomfortable they then reluctantly told the young girl to alter something on the till so I was charged £15. Once I got home and looked at my feet, I only have nail polish on 3/4 of my big toe hardly any on one of my little toes and cuticles definitely not done on my little toes either. Very disappointed. Thought i would try somewhere different for my treatments for a change and give somewhere new a go and thought i would start with a pedicure as you can't go far wrong with that, how wrong was I. Don't personally totally blame the young girl as that I think was down to inexperience and lack of training. But I do think I was put with her so that the other beautician could do her friends nails! It would also have been nice to have been spoken to alittle nicer and explained that "oh really sorry but the treatment you have had cost £20 madam but on this occasion due to our error will will do for £15" or words to that effect. BUT WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE RECOMMENDING OR COMING BACK!! So will be going back to my usually saloon!
