This was my first visit to Backstage Beauty and Matthieu was recommended by a friend as well. I think it was the best hairdressing experience I have ever had. My hair was really long (almost waist length) and I'd decided to make quite a change and cut nearly half of it off to just below shoulder length, but I didn't really have any idea of how I wanted it cut or the kind of style I wanted. He spent time looking at my hair and how it flows naturally and suggested ways that would work for my type of hair and face shape, and actually suggested cutting less off than I originally had planned. The end result was perfect, I feel like I now have a hair style for the first time in my adult life instead of just long hair. I felt really looked after, he has a friendly and relaxed style that immediately puts you at ease and he's obviously really talented. I feel like I have found my new hairdresser, I will definitely be back. I also got loads of compliments from friends and family which is always a good endorsement!
