I experience major tension (and pain) in the upper back and neck, deep tissue massage is one of the ways I try to manage this condition. The centre seems fine in general but my massage with Fergus was lacking a level of precision that you get when a massage therapist really understands anatomy. The pressure was way to light in general, apart from the inordinate amount of time that was spent trying to work out a bad knot. This was really painful. I tried to communicate throughout. It it made the experience more awkward and the quality of the massage never improved. I actually felt like leaving half way through and still not sure why I persevered. The massage actually triggered more pain. I have never been bothered to leave a negative review for anything before but this was very disappointing.

Very nice staff - good back massage but unfortunately I wanted a deep tissue massage in my lower back but this wasn't really focused on. Wouldn't pay £65 for it which is what i would have paid had I not gone through treatwell. I ended up paying for another deep tissue made somewhere else a few days later.

I had a brilliant massage with Fergus
I had pains in my shoulders and neck and I felt so much better as he relieved the knots
I'd highly recommend both him and the centre
