This was the worst hair cut I've ever had. The salon was dirty. The staff were brusque. The hairdresser smelt of smoke and appeared to have no idea what she was doing and this resulted in a disastrous haircut. I would advise avoiding this place.

I've got fine, difficult hair but Gina did a lovely job with the root tint, cut and blow dry. In fact the style lasted over the weekend where I was attending a wedding. I didn't have to fiddle about washing and styling as it just stayed in shape throughout.
Hair Colouring

I cannot speak highly enough of the technician who did my nails - Mihaela, or Miha for short. She was polite, fun to chat with, and great at her job. There's no denying it - my nails look fantastic!
So why only 3 stars? In short: the salon. It's quite frankly run down and in need of a lick of paint. I'd be willing to accept this if I'd have gone to somewhere below market average for a gel manicure, but the fact of the matter is £30 is money I could have spend elsewhere for a MUCH nicer environment. The owner of this salon really needs to put some love into the place.
My last complaint is that there was seemingly no hygiene protocol in place. The towel used during the service was just the one that had been lying on the desk - and was clean, but very ratty. Tools used to cut my cuticles did not come out of barbicide or an autoclave - this is a HUGE NO NO!
The manicure in itself turned out great and my nails look great. I've had a lot of compliments on them, and Mihaela was a diamond. But the salon needs to get its act together, and start implementing some basic hygiene and service standards.
