I arrived at the salon and announced that I had a 14:15 threading appointment. Staff looked bemused, as if they were not used to clients arriving at the salon, so I said that I had booked via the Treatwell app. The younger therapist looked at me as if I was crazy.
I was left, sitting for ten minutes when I started to wonder what was going on... I had expected this to be a quick in-and-out type of treatment. I asked what time I would be getting my threading and the therapist responded “why?” so I reminded her that my appointment was at 14:15, and it was now close to 14:30 and there was no sign of anything happening. She then told me to take a seat and did the treatment. No apologies, no smiles - seriously lacking in customer service skills.
I paid £12 for this treatment, which is more expensive than one would expect - on this basis, I expect friendlier service and a warmer welcome!
