I attended once previous for a haircut with wash and rough dry, this was fine and a good price (£25 with sale discount). I was advised if I wanted a blow dry finish with this cut I would need to pay an extra £10. I declined on my first visit but on second visit I agreed to have a nicer finish and pay extra.
When I went to pay the extra they asked for £35 official blow dry cost on top for long hair, this was additional to the £25 for the hair cut. Total cost £60 for a wash, cut and finish which took 1 hour. This is not a luxury hairdressers, I received no drink and my hairdresser did not speak English (manager translated) but this is fine as cost is low when on a budget. This cost is ridiculous and I felt ripped off.
I tried to argue this was not what was told before and they knocked £5 off. The blow dry took 15-20 mins as I was already washed so this was £30 for literally hardly any extra time, they would not negotiate on this. I was planning to make them my long term hairdresser but will now not use them again. I do not recommend.
